What colour of nylons should I wear with my dress?

I have a dark blue dress, like navy blue, and silver heels. At first I wanted nylons that are without lycra and colour of skin, but my mum and some sellers said that I should get one with lot of lycra and maybe in light gray etc. Let's just say everyone had their own opinion and now I don't know what to do. I would like someone with experience to help me. Any suggestions?
