Show leads thoughts ideas?

You can use whatever suits your dog best. Puppies often perform better in nylon or soft material collars, either slip or martingale. As your training progresses and you puppy grow and mature you may find that you get a better performance in a different type of collar/lead combination. I start my babies in soft fabric slip collars and some will stay in them all of their show careers some (usually the boys) will listen better in a snake chain and fine lead. I like to use leads made from either colored parachute cord decorated with little gold beads, or fine rolled leather. It's just personal preference. Ask your puppy's breeder what they use or recommend.
